SN65HVD1050DThe SN65HVD1050D is a high speed EMC optimized CAN (Controller Area Network) transceiver in 8 pin SOIC package. This CAN transceiver meets or exceeds specifications of ISO 11898-2 standard for use in applications employing CAN. As a CAN transceiver, this device provides differential transmit capability to bus and differential receive capability to CAN controller at signalling rates up to 1Mbps. The SN65HVD1050D is designed for operation in especially harsh environments. As a result the device features cross wire, overvoltage and loss of ground protection from -27V to 40V, overtemperature shutdown, -12V to 12V common mode range and withstand voltage transients from -200 V to 200V according to ISO 7637. A dominant time out circuit in SN65HVD1050D prevents the driver from blocking network communication with hardware or software failure.
