This regulator is a monolithic integrated circuit is built with LMDMOS process that provides all active functions for step down (buck) switching regulator. Requiring minimum number of external components, this regulator is simple to use and features patented internal frequency compensation and fixed frequency oscillator. A standard series of inductors are optimized for use with LM2675 regulator. This feature greatly simplifies to design switch mode power supplies using this IC. It features stand by current of 50µA and external shut down. Output switch includes current limiting and thermal shut down for full protection under fault conditions.
